When they needed a reliable, customized control system for the master control room, Scripps Networks turned to MediaMerge.
After years of nursing a failing control system, the engineers at Scripps reached out to MediaMerge for a solution that would be both reliable and flexible. A custom-designed graphical user interface (GUI) was a top priority to accommodate the unique nature of the network’s expanding business model.
The system includes multiple touch-screen based control applications to manage the routing, control and monitoring of the company’s massive audio and video content distribution network. Additional stations are included for control of the quality control viewing suites used to review content prior to airing.
